Rev. Dr. Scott Kirkland (Minister)   Daniel Clarke (Youth Worker)
Scott became our minister in 2011 having ministered in the Falkirk area for nine years and then six years overseas. In his latter years overseas, Scott became a minister in The Evangelical Presbyterian Church (United States). Scott met his wife Anita at seminary in the USA. Anita is originally from Hong Kong and they have two daughters. Scott came to Maxwell with a desire for outreach, preaching, prayer and pastoral care. In spare moments Scott enjoys playing his guitar (badly!) and riding his motorbike with Anita or the girls on the back!   Daniel oversees the youth work programme by organising youth activities,  leading the Sunday youth group and engaging all 11 to 25 with Church life, building and fostering teams to provide young people with the opportunity to encounter and investigate the person of Jesus Christ.

“I want to see every teenager and young adult journeying through life in a relationship with Jesus.”

Pauline Forster (Children's and Families' Worker)   Andrew Little (Session Clerk)

Pauline coordinates our activities with children aged 0-11 and their families, to introduce them to and nurture them in the Christian faith. Pauline oversees and helps out at various groups and events that take place at Maxwell, bringing creativity and new ideas to engage everyone - from babies to grandparents - in growing faith.

Our congregation is led by a number of elders. We call the formal gathering of these elders "the Kirk Session". Andrew is our "Session Clerk" and keeps the Kirk Session running smoothly. He is a banker by day and an avid follower of Killie, which is a football team by all accounts.
